The Divine Engine of the World
A fictional post-apocalyptic setting using Gary Numan's "Broken" and "Savage" music as the inspiration created by Brighton Brooks and Heather Maas Khicha. This project so far entails a lot of costume design, character creation, a fire-enhanced short performance piece, and some narrative prose.

In the not too distant future, our planet suffers a climate crisis resulting in catastrophic flooding and desertification. Billions die. We turn to technology as our savior, but technology fails us. So we turn to religion, but god is not there. Some struggle to survive in what is left of the cities where the rule of law is chaos and greed. Others leave to form their own Ghost Nation in the wastelands where nothing lives. And a few still cling to the notion that a Deus Ex Machina will save them.

Mushroom

Using Pilobolus creative movement techniques, we explored a small group structured improvisation that meditates on what it means to be a singular organism that is connected to many others. This piece is now available for performance opportunities (contact us for info!)

The Hunter and the Star

A modern fairy-tale set in a world of magical realism exploring themes of myth, madness, legacy and an invisible web that extends across time and space. To get involved, contact us.
